Criteria for Applicants
Applicants must prove their financial hardship by providing their latest tax return
Applicants must reside in Switzerland
Only applications for small animals (dogs, cats, pets) will be considered
Applicant must not be a breeder
Due to a high influx of applications, we are only processing applications in English or German. Applications in other languages will not be processed.
Documents to submit
Proof of financial hardship (if married also from spouse). One of the following:
Tax return, last 3 payslips, bank statement for the last 6 months
Statement of unemployment benefit, AHV or IV pension
Proof of ownership (pet passport, registration with the municipality, Amicus etc.). If the pet is not chipped, we will accept two separate vet bills where the owner name and pet name are documented, as proof of ownership.
Signed declaration
Assessment from a veterinarian (Patient Report). Please note that a bill or cost estimation alone does not include the information we require.

The funding will be sent directly to the treating practice/clinic, not to individuals.
The amount of financial support is determined according to the type of treatment and predefined contribution limits to ensure a consistent and standardized assessment of applications. We reserve the right to reject applications without providing reasons.
We may call the treating veterinarian to discuss the animal's situation or obtain information.
